The GATE 2027 online application portal (GOAPS) went live on September 2, 2026, with regular registration closing September 27 and a late-fee window running through October 5, 2026. This cycle adds a new Robotics and Automation test paper and, for the first time, makes DigiLocker verification compulsory for all Indian applicants.
